Micro-courses 1: EEG in humans.
This course will be taught in Portuguese, by Dráulio Araújo (Professsor, Brain Institute) and Daniel Brandão (Bioinformatician and IT Analyst, Brain Institute), and will cover the basic principles of electroencephalography (EEG), ranging from history, description of the different parts of the equipment, introduction to the interpretation of signal elements, mechanisms, terminology and possible applications. The course will be interactive, with the theoretical part being presented alongside practical parts.
Micro-courses 2: Local field potential analysis with open source tools.
This short course will be taught by Rodrigo Santiago (Ph.D., Computational Neurophysiology of Brain Institute) and Lucas Caiã (Ph.D., Computational Neurophysiology of Brain Institute), and will introduce field potential analysis techniques local brain, focusing on the use of open source computational tools.
